Your Self-Worth is NOT equal to your Net Worth
For some time now I have been reading and listening to "the people who should know" promote the idea that your 'self-worth is equal to your net-worth.'
I disagree with this statement and despise the implication that the amount of money one has in the bank or the number of pieces of real estate one owns has anything to do with the type of person he or she is, the amount of good they are doing in the world and the joy they may be bringing to others.
I dislike this statement so much, that after hearing it again last week for the umpteenth time, I got up and wrote this Legal Document for All of Us. It's call "My Legal Separation From All Things Not Life" and I have included it here for your use. • whether I watch TV or not or what I choose, or don't choose,

• what kind of foods I prefer, or don’t prefer, to eat
• what clothes I choose, or don’t choose, to wear
• what words I choose, or don’t choose, to speak
• what thoughts I choose, or don’t choose, to share
• or anything else for that matter. I am simply me, and even that is questionable. Period.
